Welcome to Pre-Fundamentals (Math in Focus, Level 5)!
Pre-Fundamentals (Math in Focus, Level 5) will be a two-semester class where we will go through the Math in Focus 5A book (Zebra) in the fall and book 5B (also Zebra) in the spring. This class will cover topics such as place value to 100, rounding and estimating, multiplication/division with 2-digit numbers, order of operations, adding/subtracting and multiplying/dividing fractions, mixed numbers, and decimals, geometry concepts (area and ratios.

ALGEBRA I
Class Name: Algebra I (2x/week, 1 hr each M/W for 16 weeks)

Welcome to Algebra I!
I love Algebra! This Algebra I course is a rigorous one-year course that will move at a fast pace as we work toward understanding expressions, factoring and expanding expressions, the quadratic equation, associated real-world problems, and expressions with multiple variables.
This course is designed to prepare your student for entering into subsequent higher-level math courses such as Geometry and Algebra II.
